EXCLUSIVE ESCAPES HOLIDAY HOMES presents Birdwood Estate.......... A majestic three storey Queen Anne Federation residence nestled between Margaret River icons Cape Lodge and Clairault Streicker Wines.
Perched atop manicured lawns and overlooking a sizeable lake, the stately three storey residence is built of solid limestone and features five grand bedrooms and two newly renovated bathrooms. A style more prevalent in Perths riverside suburbs, it is adorned with distinctive features such as open fireplaces, soaring ceilings, railway sleepers salvaged from Westralia and traditional bay windows, to name only a few. Newly furnished with inspiration from the rustic interiors of Soho Farmhouse in the English countryside, it provides a relaxed, quintessentially Hamptons feel.
The common rooms are plentiful and well spread; an open plan farmhouse kitchen with a large chefs oven and 12 seat solid oak dining table is perfect for entertaining; a formal living room the perfect place to sit back and relax, with linens and light soft furnishings giving guests the feeling of a country house from upstate New York; and an enormous informal third floor loft area packed with plenty of games, toys, books and a large flat screen with xbox perfect for the kids.
Outside, join the endless birdlife enjoying the serenity and many vantage points on offer, or entertain with the BBQ and outdoor dining facilities overlooking the pool.
A truly unique offering, visitors at Birdwood Estate can avail themselves of the Cape Lodge restaurant across the fence, or arrange a private viewing or even a workshop with our awarded guest sculptural artist, Alan Meyburgh. With a plethora of nearby wineries, microbreweries, beautiful beaches and other natural attractions, many of which are in walking distance, guests at Birdwood Estate need not venture far for the perfect Margaret River experience.
Birdwood Estate can accommodate large groups, however it is NOT a party house and is therefore not suitable for people wanting to make undue noise.
